Scope:
If you use our SSO login to access SchoolMoney (I.E. You Log in using your email address and a password), and are an Admin User, you can quickly & easily activate new logins for other members of staff in the school.
Instructions:
- Please ensure those staff members have their Work Email Addresses stored within your MIS system.
If you have to add the email address(es) to the MIS, please allow time for these to sync through to SchoolMoney. This may take overnight.
Please note: For Security and Auditability reasons, we strongly recommend setting up each staff member individually and avoiding sharing logins.
- In SchoolMoney click on the Admin Tab and select User Logins

- Looking at the Email Address column, find the staff member you wish to set up and double click to open.

Please ignore any rows where the username begins ‘sm_’ (these are the old legacy logins which should not be used)
If you cannot see the staff member you’re looking for, check the next page using the green arrow at the top left.
If you still cannot see the staff member, please double check step 1 of these instructions.

Please Note: The ‘username’ shown has been automatically derived and is not required. The login detail is the email address listed.
- Use the green tick boxes to select which parts of SchoolMoney the staff member should have access to.

- Press Save
The staff member(s) will now automatically receive an email inviting them to set a password and start logging into SchoolMoney.
If the staff member does not receive, or misplaces the invitation email, they can also use the forgotten password procedure to set up a password and login.
