Scope: Using the Dinner Balance Report to view each student’s current dinner balance, and contact parents to request payment.
Instructions:
Click into the Reports Tab
Select the Dinner Balance Report
The report will show you each child’s name, form, class and current balance
You can use the Student, Year and Form boxes to filter down the report.
Ticking Exclude FSM/UIFSM/Packed Lunch will remove those students from the list. This would be useful if you do not wish to send payment messages to those parents.
- UIFSM will be based on their year group (Usually Reception – Year 2)
- FSM and Packed Lunch is based on the setting on their profile within the Admin and Students Section.
You can use the Show Balances Less Than / More Than a customised amount, by entering an amount and pressing Go
To send a message, tick the student’s names you wish to send to, or press ‘Select All’ at the top. Then press Send Messages, followed by Send on the next screen.
The message they receive will depend on the student’s current balance:
- If they are in arrears, the message will request they log in to pay
- If they are not in arrears, but their balance is below the amount you entered next to “Show Balances Less Than” the message will recommend they top-up their account.
