SchoolMoney: Set up SIMS Attendance Report

The SIMS attendance import allows you to run a daily report to fill in your SchoolMoney dinner register based on the attendance marks you have already recorded in SIMS.

This will make use of the Dinner Patterns (usually imported from SIMS directly) to mark each present student for a School Meal or a Packed Lunch depending on their preference. You will then need to make any ad-hoc changes directly on the SchoolMoney Dinner Register tab (e.g. If a child forgets their packed lunch and has been given a school meal instead).

Please note:

  • Any student who has an AM Absence recorded in SIMS will not be marked down for any meal
  • Any other student will be marked down for a meal/packed lunch depending on their daily preference
  • This report is only available on SIMS and cannot be used with other MIS Systems.
