Teachers2Parents: Checking Email Delivery

Scope

Steps to look at your Delivery Reports for the emails you have sent to your contacts.

Instructions

  1. Go to Reports > Email Delivery.
  2. The Email Delivery tab is a permanent record of all emails sent from Teachers2Parents. This will show:
    • Created On: The date and time the email was sent.
    • User: The user who sent the email.
    • Subject: The subject of the email sent.
    • Message: The contents of the email.
    • Attachments: The file(s) that was attached to the email.
      • Note: Attachments can be opened from Email Delivery within 5 days of the message being sent by clicking on the filename. After 5 days, the filename will change to plain text to keep a record but can no longer be opened.
  3. Use Filters to specify which Sent Emails should show:
    • Date: All emails (default) or emails sent in a specific month.
    • Student: Emails sent to specific contacts.
    • Users: Emails sent by specific users.
  4. Double-click on a message or select it and click Open.
  5. This will open the Delivery Report Details window with Message Recipients. This will show:
    • Sent: The date and time the email was sent to that specific recipient.
    • Name: The name of the contact it was sent to.
    • Email Address: The email address used for that contact.
    • Status: Whether the email was sent successfully or not.
      • Pending: The email is currently sending or waiting to send.
      • Sent: The email has been sent successfully.
      • Failed: The email delivery was not successful. The address may be invalid.
    • Error Reason: The reason the email failed to send successfully.
  6. Click Show Message to see a copy of the email that had been sent, including the original formatting used.
  7. Click Refresh to update this window with the latest delivery statuses. It will also refresh every 30 seconds while open
