Scope
This article describes the purpose of the Authorisation Code and how to acquire it.
Symptoms
After clicking Import, there will be a pop-up asking for an Authorisation Code.
Cause
The requirement for the Authorisation Code is a security measure to avoid scenarios where the incorrect data is imported into ParentsEvening, potentially requiring all the data from the account to be deleted.
If there any validation messages highlighted in red, then this would usually result in a request for the Authorisation Code.
Resolution

Contact the support team who will provide you with today’s Authorisation Code.

Enter the Authorisation Code into the required field.

Click OK.

Your CSV file will start importing your student and parent data.
